Occupational therapy (OT) helps children develop the skills they need to participate in everyday activities with confidence and independence. Through play, movement, and meaningful experiences, OT can support a child's ability to learn, interact with others, care for themselves, and engage in home, school, and community life.
-
Occupational therapy may benefit children who experience challenges with daily activities, development, sensory processing, motor skills, attention, emotional regulation, or participation in school and social settings. Every child is unique, and therapy is tailored to their individual strengths, needs, and goals.

At Melissa & Me OT, therapy is play-based, family-centered, and focused on meaningful outcomes. -
Melissa & Me OT LLC is a private-pay practice and does not directly bill insurance. Private-pay services allow for greater flexibility, individualized care, and treatment recommendations based solely on your child's needs rather than insurance limitations.
-
Therapy is most effective when skills are practiced in meaningful, real-world environments. Services may be provided in the home, school, daycare, community settings, or other natural environments based on the child's needs and goals.
