Melissa & Me OT is a private-pay practice and does not directly bill insurance. A superbill can be provided upon request for families who wish to pursue potential out-of-network reimbursement.

Do you accept insurance?
Can you provide a diagnosis?
No. Occupational therapists do not diagnose medical or developmental conditions. If concerns arise during the evaluation process, it may be recommended to discuss them with your child's pediatrician or another qualified healthcare provider.
Does my child need a diagnosis to receive OT

A medical diagnosis is not required for private-pay occupational therapy services. However, if you plan to seek insurance reimbursement, a diagnosis code may be required by your insurance provider.
When are therapy sessions provided?

Melissa & Me OT currently offers limited appointments during after-school hours starting in the 26-27 school year. Additional availability may be offered on non-school days, school breaks, and during the summer months. Please reach out for current scheduling options.
Do I need to be present for my child’s session?

Caregiver involvement is encouraged, but participation may vary based on your child's needs, family preferences, and therapist recommendations. While parent coaching supports carryover at home, some children benefit from one-on-one time with the therapist to maximize engagement.
